Experience in a live demo how TESSA DAM efficiently manages your digital content.
Get together & Welcome
The day began in a relaxed atmosphere with a get-together, where participants could arrive and enjoy coffee and conversation. After this warm-up, Salvatore Accaputo opened the event with a heartfelt welcome, and then it was straight into the content.
Presentations of the day
Akeneo: “Close the loop: Improving the current product experience through customer feedback”
In his presentation, Max Henrychowski from Akeneo showed how companies can leverage the valuable potential of customer feedback. Instead of guessing what customers want, data from feedback should be used to actively control the product experience. His approach: PX Insights as a means of making feedback measurable and using it strategically.
Sebastian: “Shaping successful change: What it takes in your head for change to succeed”
Sebastian Wächter from Barrierefrei im Kopf brought a very personal perspective to the day: he explained how change often fails due to internal barriers and how these can be overcome. His presentation was characterized by experience and practical insights: change requires not only methodological know-how, but also mental agility and openness, especially in challenging situations.
IDS online: “PIM and DAM in the dental industry: Challenges and solutions for medium-sized companies”
Michael Mollath from IDS online took the audience on a journey into a specific industry - namely, the dental industry - and highlighted the typical stumbling blocks in the digitization of product data and media. He showed what medium-sized companies need to pay particular attention to, for example, when structuring data, networking systems, and setting up a product data hub as a central tool.
InBetween: “Publish like a pro – it's that easy to go from PIM & DAM to the world!”
Eckhardt Schwabe from InBetween presented approaches for automatically and consistently importing product data from PIM and media data from DAM into print and digital channels. He focused on how to avoid redundancies, reduce manual steps, and create high-quality publications with a single click – without any copy & paste.
Webmatch: “KPIs – The most important method for measuring success”
In his presentation, Adrian Gajda from Webmatch introduced key KPIs that companies can use to measure their online shops and e-commerce activities. He explained how to calculate these metrics, what they are suitable for, and how they can help to steer measures in a targeted manner.
TESSA: “Working more efficiently with TESSA: Current features and real use cases”
Finally, Torsten Herbert and Andreas Werner presented the latest developments in TESSA DAM. The focus was on AI functions such as automatic tagging, detection of similar or duplicate files, optimized versioning, advanced video processing, and extended connections to Adobe tools. A look ahead also revealed upcoming features such as transcription, Office integrations, and generative AI for asset creation.
Guided tour and dinner
The program was followed by a cultural highlight: an exclusive tour of the Würzburg Residence. We then ended the day together with dinner at the Residence restaurant—a lovely setting for further conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
